Supporting Brentwood Theatre

Friends of Brentwood Theatre
At Brentwood Theatre, most of our income comes from the fee we charge the (mainly non-professional) performing groups that hire the Theatre to put on their shows here, but we still need to raise in excess of fifteen thousand pounds every year just to 'stand still'.

Through fundraising events and the generosity of many, we are able to keep our costs as low as possible for these groups. As a Friend of Brentwood Theatre, you can help to ensure that we can continue to provide this amazing community facility.

For a minimum donation of just 25 per year, you will receive

* advance notice of all of Brentwood Theatre's 'own' productions and special events

* special offers from time to time

* one night's free use of The Spotlight Bar as a meeting space

* free mailings every two months updating you with all forthcoming productions

The Stephen Moyer 'take the kids to the Theatre' appeal
Since 2009, the international supporters brought to us through our Patron, Stephen Moyer, have done a great job in paying for children from local schools, who otherwise could not afford to come to see us, even though we keep our prices low.

Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens
One of the most exciting fundraising projects was Brentwood Theatre Company's production of Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens, which transferred for one day only to The Fortune Theatre, London. The cast of over seventy gave their time for nothing and the result was a show which all involved will remember for the rest of their lives.
