DESCRIPTION:Tickets are being sold directly by Billericay Operatic Society.\nTheir box office is open 7 days a week\, 8am to 8pm\, on 01277 650672. \nMel Brooks’ record-breaking musical comedy\nBased on Mel Brooks’ much loved Academy Award-winning movie\, The Producers is a hilarious musical comedy that has taken Broadway and the West End by storm\, winning a record-breaking 12 Tony Awards and 3 Olivier Awards. \nIt’s 1959\, and Broadway is buzzing with some of the theatre world’s biggest names. Producer Max Bialystock\, however\, is no longer one of them with every show that he produces becoming an instant flop. One day\, mousy accountant Leo Bloom shows up at Bialystock’s office and innocently remarks that a dishonest man could make more money producing a flop than a hit.
