DESCRIPTION:Four darkly comic short plays by award-winning playwright William Patterson\n  \n‘Futures’\, ‘Resting’\, ‘The Home Furnishings Department’ and ‘Dearly Beloved’ by William Patterson. Each of these four short plays is a brilliant and darkly comic perspective on aspects of modern life – from the economic crash to unemployment\, consumerism and marriage. \nWritten by William Patterson \nDirected by Lin Pollitt and Sara Thompson \nStarring Sophie Ambler\, Neil Gray\, Seb Hough\, Lisa Mathews\, Tim Murphy\, Lin Pollitt\, Candy Lillywhite-Taylor\, Tori Till\, Craig Whitney \n  \nWilliam Patterson has won numerous awards for his plays including the Rochdale Literary and Ideas Festival 2015\, the Cro-Magnon Theatre Short Play Competition 2014 and the Hotbed Festival Cambridge Short Play Competition 2013. His full-length play ‘Bandit’ was shortlisted for the 2017 Terrence Rattigan Prize.  \n‘Futures’ has previously been performed as a finalist in the Lost Theatre Festival 2014\, Pint Sized Plays Festival 2012 (and published in their short play collection 2013) and in a two week run at the Riverside Studios Hammersmith as a finalist in the Shortcut Festival 2012.  \n ‘The Home Furnishings Department’ has been presented at the ADC Theatre Cambridge\, the Drayton Arms Theatre London and as part of the Rich Mix Festival 2014.  \n ‘Resting’ was performed by Whoop ‘n’ Wail Theatre Company at the Waterloo East Theatre in 2015. \nThere is strong language in this production. \nAdult content – there are aspects of this production which may be unsuitable for all ages and therefore parental guidance is advisory. \n  \nWant to find out more about Renegades Theatre Company? \nVisit them on their Facebook!
