SUMMARY:The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel...and Indian Inspired Afternoon Tea
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a screening of the brilliant film The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel followed by an Indian inspired afternoon tea with cakes\, sandwiches and other treats catered by Brentwood’s own authentic Indian cook Vidushi (Tastefully Yours) and of course plenty of Birchall’s Darjeeling Tea.\nSome British retirees (Judi Dench\, Maggie Smith\, Bill Nighy) decide to outsource their retirement to exotic — and less expensive — India. Lured by advertisements for the newly restored Marigold Hotel and imagining a life of leisure in lush surroundings\, they arrive and find that the Marigold is actually a shell of its former self. Though their new home is not quite what they had imagined\, the retirees find that life and love can begin again when they let go of their pasts. \nThe film will start at 1.30pm followed by afternoon tea at 3.30pm. \nFilm running time: 119m\nRating: 12 (strong language\, moderate sex references\, racist remarks) \nCatering by Tastefully Yours Authentic Indian Food www.tastefully-yours.co.uk
