Short+Sweet the biggest little film festival in the world

If you love film, then you will love this. An evening of original short Films 10 minutes or under, written, directed and performed by local writers, directors and actors. A fantastic chance to see an assortment of different genres performed 10 minutes at a time. With over 90 plays submitted, a panel of industry professional’s have scored and chosen the top films for, what promises to be, a very enjoyable evening.

A diverse fun evening which will make you laugh and cry and maybe think a bit.

The festival is a unique opportunity for developing and established writers, directors and actors who want to share their talent in a professional film environment.

Short+Sweet began in Sydney, Australia, over 20 years ago and is now running in 34 cities all over the world, including Sydney, Melbourne, Illawarra, Mumbai, Hollywood and Dubai. And we are delighted to be hosting the first one here in England.
