Short+Sweet the biggest little play festival in the world

An evening of original short 10 minute plays, written, directed and performed by local writers, directors and actors. A fantastic chance to see an assortment of different genres performed 10 minutes at a time. There’s murder, mobile phones, tea party’s and train journeys, life changing decisions, friendships made and lost, even Pavlov’s dog makes an appearance.

A diverse fun evening which will make you laugh and cry and maybe think a bit.

The festival is a unique opportunity for developing and established writers, directors and actors who want to share their talent in a professional theatre environment.

It began in Sydney, Australia, over 20 years ago and is now running in 34 cities all over the world, including Sydney, Melbourne, Illawarra, Mumbai, Hollywood and Dubai. And we are delighted to be hosting the first one here in England.

Our vision is simple – a more creative world 10 minutes at a time.
