Set in Yorkshire during the First World War, The Choral tells the story of a small town whose choral society is left struggling after many of its men enlist to fight. Determined to keep the music alive, the group recruits a new chorus master, the mysterious Dr. Henry Guthrie, played by Ralph Fiennes.
As the choir prepares to perform a major work by Edward Elgar, the community must face the realities of war, loss and prejudice. Through music and determination, the townspeople discover hope, unity and the powerful role that art can play in difficult times.
A moving and uplifting British drama about community, resilience and the healing power of music.
