The untold story of the witches of Oz begins in this spectacular musical adaptation of the hit stage show. Long before Dorothy arrives in Oz, two young women meet at Shiz University — Elphaba, a misunderstood young woman with extraordinary powers, and Glinda, a popular and ambitious student.

Despite their differences, the two form an unlikely friendship. But as their lives take different paths and the politics of Oz grow darker, their bond is tested and their destinies change forever. One will become known as the Good Witch, while the other will be branded the Wicked Witch of the West.
