Nomadland

A woman in her sixties (Frances McDormand) leaves her hometown after her husband dies and the sole industry closes down, embarking on a journey through the American West and living as a van-dwelling modern-day nomad.

This neo-western drama was praised for its direction, screenplay, editing, cinematography, and performances. At the Oscars it won Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actress.
