A love letter to friendship
Beginning in 1997, we follow Marjorie and Joan’s lifelong friendship back to where it all started. The day after Blair comes to power, Joan is getting ready to go into town with her daughter Betty – just like any other Friday – when she receives a letter from America which changes everything.
Join Joan and Marjorie as they navigate major events of the 20th Century including the Vietnam War, the 1966 World Cup and Elizabeth II’s coronation (to name but a few!) alongside the incredible women that shaped them.
With an all-female cast, ‘Sometime, Soon’ celebrates the extraordinary nature of ordinary women’s lives and the joy that comes with having a best friend.
A new play with original songs and music by Andrew Linham.
A Local Girl Production, supported by Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch.
