Interested in hiring a space in Brentwood Theatre?
We have a number of spaces available to hire that can accommodate a large range of activities including theatre productions, events, conferences, dance and fitness classes, rehearsals, meetings and workshops. All of our spaces are fully accessible and benefit from the following:

All of our spaces can be accessed via our foyer or stage door and can be equipped for most events. We hope we will be able to provide a home for community groups and businesses alike. Details for each space can be found below.
The Auditorium
Brentwood Theatre’s auditorium is a fully equipped black box studio theatre space with a retractable seating bank at one end. The auditorium can be used for a large range of activities from theatrical productions to conferences. There are various configurations for the auditorium including: Full Space setup (with seating retracted), Stage Space setup (with seating out), Half Space setup (with seating retracted and a curtain across the room dividing it in two allowing for multiple occupants).

- Standing in full space setup – 200
- Seating bank – 113 (additional seating available up to 135)
- Full technical support for events available (technical specifications available on request)
The Longman Studio
The Longman Studio is on the first floor with access via the foyer or stage door when the auditorium is being used. As suitable for classes and rehearsals as it is for meetings and presentations.
- Maximum capacity 40 (dependent on activity)

- Access to a small kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities
- Tables and chairs
- Projector and screen
- Bluetooth speaker
- 10% discount at Brentwood Theatre Café for your hire

The Space
The Space is on the first floor with access via the foyer or the stage door if the auditorium is being used. The space is a multi-function room suitable for meetings, workshops, small classes and as an extra dressing room.
- Maximum capacity 15 (dependent on activity)
- 40″ TV available for presentations with HDMI and USB connections
- Access to a small kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities
- 10% discount at Brentwood Theatre Café during your hire
- Secure access for the duration of your hire
Shared Workspace
Workspaces are available to hire for the day or week for freelancers, those in the creative industries, charities and more. Our workspaces are setup in The Space and you may be in the room with up to 4 other people including members of the theatre team.
- Desk space with access to power points and Wi-Fi
- Printing facility
- USB power and charging points
- Access to a small kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and microwave
- 10% off at the Brentwood Theatre Café
- Access available Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm
- Secure access to the shared space
