The Lady Vanishes

One train + one American heiress + one English nanny = one thrilling mystery! When Miss Froy vanishes, everyone denies having ever seen her. Is Amanda’s hangover really that bad…or does the fate of Miss Froy and the British Empire lie in her hands?

Just before the start of World War II, zany heiress Amanda Kelly travels by train to Switzerland. While passing through Germany, she meets a sweet elderly lady, Miss Froy, who suddenly vanishes. Distraught, Amanda questions her fellow passengers who claim that the woman was never there at all. Unsure if it’s all in her mind or if there’s a more sinister plot afoot, Amanda teams up with photographer Robert Condon to discover the truth. If Miss Froy is not a figment of her imagination, then who indeed can she trust..?
