Afternoon Tea at Ingatestone Hall

Brentwood Theatre invites you to an

Afternoon Tea at Ingatestone Hall

Join us for an afternoon tea with live music in the stunning setting of  Ingatestone Hall.

Enjoy a delicious selection of freshly prepared sandwiches with scones, clotted cream, preserve and a variety of cakes along with a classic selection of teas in the summer parlour of Ingatestone Hall and for that extra special touch you’ll get a glass of prosecco included with your ticket.

While you enjoy your sumptuous afternoon tea you’ll also be able to tap your toe along to music from our live band – you can even have a little dance if the mood takes you!

After you’ve had your fill of tea, sandwiches and cakes and enjoyed the musical entertainment you will be free to wander and explore the beautiful enclosed gardens of Ingatestone Hall comprising lawns, walled gardens and pond.

Ingatestone Hall stands in open countryside, one mile from the village of Ingatestone and substantially retains its original Tudor form and appearance with its mullioned windows, high chimneys, crow-step gables and oak-panelled rooms. The Hall remains primarily a private family residence – and, no doubt because of this, many visitors have commented on its friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Brentwood Theatre is very grateful to be able to host this fundraising event at Ingatestone Hall and we hope you will be able to join us, all profits from this event will go towards helping Brentwood Theatre continue to deliver community events and future projects.

Changes Two Bowie

A must see celebration of the music of David Bowie

A celebration of the music of David Bowie, ChangesTwoBowie perform over 40 years of Bowie songs with style and panache.

With the vocal talents of 2001 Stars in Their Eyes finalist Tony Perry, the band feature a line up reminiscent of Bowie live shows from the 90’s until his final performances. If you want to hear more than Let’s Dance and Starman this is the band too see. The hits and standards are all performed, alongside lesser known album tracks and more recent material.

Changes Two Bowie give a two hour live performance of Bowie songs from all the albums including Hunky Dory, Ziggy Stardust, Heroes, Low, and also later studio albums such as Earthling, Heathen and finally the last album Lazarus.

The emphasis is focused on presenting a career spanning breadth of work from the Bowie catalogue, a must see for all true Bowie fans.

Richard Pilgrim of Web Music Review says: “ChangesTwoBowie have a collective passion for the music of David Bowie. Although there are glimpses of greasepaint and glitter and his early songs are included and played with gusto, this is not a ‘ZIGGY’ show; more an attempt to cram 40 years of Bowie’s music into a two hour performance. They do it well”.

Celebrate the man and his music together. We can be Heroes, forever and ever. What d’you say?
