Who is this “sneering Satan”? When their mutual friend Gabriel Utterson learns of the mysterious Mr Hyde, he commits his lawyer’s logic to the proceedings. Believing Hyde to be blackmailing Jekyll, he vows to bring Hyde to task and solve the mystery. But he must move quickly, before Hyde strikes again.

Macbeth

MACBETH

Dickens Theatre Company present the Bard’s bloodiest tragedy!

This fresh new adaptation of the ‘Scottish Play’ arrives in Brentwood.

An ensemble of actors create a cauldron of characters, as Macbeth and Lady Macbeth make their perilous descent towards Hell. Set against a back-drop of wars, witchery and treasonous plotting, Shakespeare’s ambitious Macbeth remains ominously relevant in the 21st Century.
“What’s done cannot be undone!”

Dickens Theatre Company has been successfully staging classic English literature texts for the UK stage since 2015.

As part of DTC’s ‘Revision on Tour’ (alongside Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde), this Macbeth entertains and educates… to the bitter end.

Post-show Q & A available upon request.

Expected running time 70mins (no interval)
