The Night Before Christmas (Pay What You Can)

Here at Brentwood Theatre, we believe that everyone should have access to theatre. Therefore, we’re thrilled to be able to support two special ‘Pay What You Can’ performances of our Christmas family musical The Night Before Christmas!

These performances will be on Monday 16th December at 6pm and Tuesday 17th December at 5.30pm only.

‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring…except for a child sneaking out of her bedroom to try and catch a glimpse of Santa! Little does she know the adventure that’s in store when she encounters Humbug, the friendly mouse of the house, and when Santa gets stuck in the chimney they’ll need to work together, with the help of the Sugar Plum Fairy and Rudolph, to save Christmas for everyone!

The sell-out musical for the whole family returns to Brentwood Theatre this December to enchant audiences once again as our two actors take the stage to tell the quintessential Christmas story using puppetry and a little touch of Christmas magic!

Adapted from the poem The Night Before Christmas by Clement Clarke Moore.

Recommended for ages 3+

Approx. running time 60 mins

The Wedding Singer

Its time to party like its 1985! Based upon the hit Adam Sandler movie, the Billericay Operatic Society is heading back to the 1980s with The Wedding Singer.

Rock start wannabe Robbie Hart is New Jersey’s favourite wedding singer. He’s the life of the party until his own wedding plans crumble and his rock chick fiancée Linda leaves him standing at the altar. Shot through the heart, Robbie turns every wedding he performs at into a catastophe until Julia – a waitress dreaming of her own perfect wedding – hits the scene. There is just one big problem – Julia is already engaged to the loathsome Glen Guglia, a shallow, obnoxious Wall Street broker who only cares about the dollar. When Julia elopes with Glen to Las Vegas Robbie decide to play the gig of his life in an attempt to win her heart.
